Last week we told you about nineteen year old Linsdale Flowers who was arrested for attacking his stepmother Consuelo Lopez with a machete. Lopez sustained serious wounds to her arms and head before police arrived on the scene and detained him. Flowers has been in police custody since then, and appeared in court today where he was charged with attempted murder, dangerous harm and deadly means of harm. He was remanded into custody until February 11, 2017.
Flowers' motives are still unknown, but police think that some sort of misunderstanding between the two caused him to get violent. We spoke to Lopez's daughter earlier today, and she told us that her mother is now conscious and is doing much better.
