The highway hijackers have struck again! this time it was a Shaw's Bus. Last night around 8:30, the Belmopan bound bus stopped near Gracie Rock and 2 armed men got on the bus demanding money from the conductor. But the conductor outsmarted the robbers and gave them an empty bag. Rural Police told us more about this second highway robbery and what they are doing to prevent recurrence.
Police are not sure if those 3 men they caught were involved in last night's bus robbery. As we told you on Tuesday, 2 men who were dressed as cops, set up a fake check point at mile 20 and stole almost 50,000 from a Travelers truck.
