Jules Vasquez
"Now this we're told that it's two men on motorbike?"

ACP. Chester Williams - Commander Southside

Reporter
"He was the intended target sir?"

ACP. Chester Williams - Commander Southside
"From all indications yes he was and we are looking for one person who we believe maybe able to assist us in the investigation."

Reporter
"Is he known to the police? He is involved in any kind of criminal activities that you know of?"

ACP. Chester Williams - Commander Southside
"You know I will not go down that road."

Reporter
"Has any motive been established?"

ACP. Chester Williams - Commander Southside
"At this time we have not got a definitive motive so I will not speculate."

Jules Vasquez
"Now sir this happened on the same street as your police station. We know that you all are very active patrols out; we know you have more vehicles. Why is it that you all were not able to interdict these people on motorbike -- we know that motorbike is now the favourite new M.O for executioners who are travelling on cycle."

ACP. Chester Williams - Commander Southside
"Well we continue to do our motorcycle operations and target those persons who were seen on motorcycles, particularly those who we know are involved in gang activities but as with all things Jules no matter what we do we cannot prevent all crime from occurring. There will be some that will happen and when it happens we just have to find a way to deal with it but we will continue to do our utmost best. Yes it is on Racoon Street but it's not close to the police station as you may want to think and we do have patrols in that area as well and the patrols were quick to respond but at time the two persons knowing that they were moving on motorcycles they could have maneuverer the vehicles and get away."

Jules Vasquez
"Sir and then retaliation; I know when at least one person posted on Facebook saying that you that retaliation will be forthcoming and this person I believe is quite well known to you."

ACP. Chester Williams - Commander Southside
"Yes I saw the post on Facebook and I immediately got to the person who posted it and I spoke to him and I let him know that we are not going to tolerate any retaliation and he assured me that he was angry when he made the post and that he took it down post which I later on saw he did and they will do their best to work with us. We believe that the matter will be solved and we are working towards that."
