And while the appointment of that 13th senator is a major reform initiative which will bring unprecedented balance to the National Assembly, another is the appointment and activation of the integrity commission. Each member of that body has been officially appointed by the Governor General and they will be sworn in on Thursday 12th January at the national assembly in Belmopan.
After that, the Commission will have its first meeting. We'll be sure to report on it.
