At the beginning of the month, Miss Belize, Rebecca Rath, left for the Philippines where she will be competing in the Miss Universe Pageant. Since then she's put the finishing touches on her wardrobe, began rehearsals and even met the President of the Philippines.
The Miss Universe pageant takes place on Sunday, and already Belizeans have been showing their love. She's received massive support from her fans, placing favorably in several online polls. But, the polls that really count just opened today. The official Miss Universe went live on the Miss Universe website today, and they're more important than ever. And that's because this year, the winner of the fan vote gets a guaranteed spot in the pageant's semifinal round.
So with the big night less than a week away, here's how to vote. You can do so from the official Miss Universe app or website, by tweeting using the appropriate hashtags, or through the Vodi app. Each participant can cast 10 votes a day, and the polls close on Saturday.
