How can Belize's slumping economy grow? That was the topic of discussion at a workshop today in Belmopan. It's a very broad and complicated matter to address in a workshop setting, but based on the 2016 report issued by the statistical institute of Belize, the primary concern should Belize's exports. As we told you, for 2016, exports declined 25% percent compared to 2015, and todays export boosting workshop held at the NEMO office focused on this aspect of the economy.
