Last night the PUP went on the offensive against government’s plan to launch a re-registration exercise in 2018. "In 1997 the PUP vigorously argued that to have a re-registration would be disenfranchising voters. The PUP argued back then you don't have to have a re-registration, what we need to do is to clean up the voters list. Don't disenfranchise people, clean up the voters list by getting those off the list who are dead etc. Now the PUP some years later it has changed its position and it is vigorously arguing for a re-registration, whe deh believe inna, whe deh really want?"
