Man Who Shot At ACP Williams To Jail
posted (February 3, 2017)
In May 2016 Assistant Commissioner of Police Chester Williams responded to a shooting incident on Euphrates Avenue. Williams intercepted the black Mazda described to him over the radio and advanced towards it. According to Williams, as he approached the vehicle, a man known to him, Zachary Knox reached out, pointed a gun and him and fired two shots. The shots missed, and Williams saw his shooters entire face and was able to identify him.

Well, 9 months later, the case went to trial today. Williams testified to see Knox fire at him, while Knox denied even being there. In the end, Knox, who was undefended, was found guilty of aggravated assault. Because Knox had no previous convictions, Magistrate Carlon Mendoza only sentenced him to six months in prison.
