Another Monima Hired In Regional Health Management
posted (February 28, 2017)
And in other news from the Ministry of Health, remember Audibaldo Monima? He's the short lived former Regional Manager for health services in the north.

Despite not having the required degree in Public Health Administration, he was given the job in June 2016, presumably as a political favor from Minister of Health Pablo Marin. After it was learned that he didn't have a health, or any other degree, he was removed from the post.

Well, the news tonight is that his wife is now the Deputy Regional Manager. Maria Monima is the Deputy Director for the Northern Region. We are told she has been approved for the post on contract, pending approval from Finance and Public Service.

But, in her case, the Ministry says that she outright outscored everyone else who applied, and that she is qualified.

She had applied for her husband's former job as Director, but got the Deputy's post. There is still no regional manager.
