A man was shot in broad daylight near a busy intersection in Belize City today. At 2:15, Brandon Bennett was on the northern approach to the Belcan Bridge when he was shot in the abdomen by an unknown person.
Bennett was taken to the KHMH where he is being treated.
Bennett is well known to police and the 24 year old has been in the news twice before for attempted murder charges. He was not convicted.
Police are now seeking a suspect for attempting to murder him.
