Who Moved Fudgy’s Grave?
posted (March 3, 2017)
At the beginning of the year, Kenneth "Fudgy" Dobson was gunned down while playing dominoes with his friends. His birthday is coming up this weekend, and his family planned to have a reunion at his grave site. However, when one of his family members went to check up on his tomb earlier today, she was surprised to see that it was missing. Actually, it had been dug up, and his coffin was moved to another location. We spoke to his family today, and they told us of their grave situation...

"I'm concern because, every day I pass through the burial ground, I pass and greet my brother and everything, but this morning now when I passed I don't see the grave, I don't see anything. Everything is dug up and he just died not even 3 months yet. So, I want to know where his body is, I'm walking around, I remember he said he wanted to be buried beside his mother's grave but this is not his mother's grave. His mother died over 5 years or so, that's way at the front by the green building. How would he be at the edge. It's not right. I started to walk around the burial ground when I smelled something unusual. I stumbled upon a grave that has his name. I went to the office and ask the people about the situation. They can't give us any answer. The neighbors are telling us that they will deal with this late at night, because I would have seen. I live right around this area. Yes he is dead but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have anyone looking out for him. His birthday is the 15th of March. We already said we are coming to paint his grave."

"In the first place he was buried in the wrong spot and then they moved him and still didn't put him in the correct spot."

"Yes, they gave us the wrong hole but now they moved him to another spot that was still not the right spot. He is still not by his mother."

Alex Courtenay, 7News
"Now you are afraid that now he is in someone else's spot that they are going to move him when they need to use it."

"Yes, he is still in someone else spot. He is squeeze between 2 graves now. Now what will happen? Will he have to move again when someone for that spot come and say that's their family's spot, he will have to move again. We won't be able to find him at all soon."

The family says Fudgy was originally supposed to be buried next to his parents, whose graves are located on the opposite side of the cemetery. They say they have already made a formal complaint to the management of the Lord's Ridge Cemetery to try to figure out the situation. The City Council press officer could not comment.
