We've featured Belizean American television news reporter Kendis Gibson many times on this newscast. In fact we first interviewed him back in 2002, when he was working at CNN Headline news. Well, since then he's been steadily moving up the media ladder, and, now, he's hit one of the highest rungs as the co-anchor of a major network morning talk show. A memo form ABC news says that Gibson has been named co-anchor of America This Morning and World News Now.
Kendis left Belize when he was eleven years old and has worked as a local reporter in Washington DC after assignments at CBS News, the FOX affiliate in San Diego and CNN in Atlanta. He joined ABC News in December 2014, and has covered many high profile stories.
