The Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy and Public Services signed two articles of agreement yesterday. The first was with Solar Energy Solutions Belize, who will begin work to establish power service connections to 40 houses in La Garcia Village in the Cayo District. The second agreement was made with Hubert L. Usher and Sons Construction, who will install 60 solar LED street lights throughout the country. 10 lights will be set up in San Narsico in Corozal, another ten will go to San Ignacio and 40 will be installed in Belize City. 

The articles of agreement were signed by the CEO of the Ministry, Dr. Peter Allen. Instillation is set to begin this month.
