Efforts at diplomacy between Belize and Guatemala may be going through a rough patch, but our friends in PG don’t need diplomats, because they have dominoes! 

Last weekend, while much of the nation watched canoes race across Belize, the Punta Gorda Dominoes Team hosted their friendly rivals, the Labuga Livingston Guatemala Dominoes Team. The teams ignored whatever malice their governments harbour for each other, and instead went head to head in the popular pastime. While the PG team took home the winner's trophy, both teams walked away from the dominoes table smiling.
