A well-known physical therapist was killed in an accident in southern Belize today. It happened at 1:40 at mile 9 on the Stann Creek Valley Road. Rubia Analicia Briceno was in a white 2012, 4door, Nissan Navara pick-up driven by Leon Peters, an employee of H.T.A. Bowman Ltd.
Right in front of Citrus Growers Association he was overtaking a truck when a Toyota Hilux exited the compound and made a left turn, causing a massive collision. Briceno who was in the passenger seat was flung from the Navarra and her body landed about 10 feet away. She was rushed in an ambulance to the Southern Regional Hospital.where she died at 2:15.
