The Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro is coming to Belize.  the official announcement was made late this afternoon.  He arrives on Thursday and leaves on Friday after a press briefing. 

He has meetings scheduled with Prime Minister Dean Barrow and Foreign Minister, Wilfred Elrington, as well as with the leader of the Opposition, John Briceño.  The Secretary General will also visit with the B.D.F. for a flyover. Almagro and his OAS are pushing for an early referendum because the Peace Fund financing for the O.A.S. Adjacency Zone office has been waning.  

Almagro first visited Belize last April for an event at the Adjacency Zone.
