Anglicans Hold Synod in Belize

Since last Week Friday, the Anglican Bishops of the Province of the West Indies have been in Belize for their Provincial Synod.

It's a gathering of the 8 dioceses of the Anglican Church which makes up the West Indies Province. These Synods are held every 3 years, and their main purpose is to take a long hard look the management of the Church, and the success that they have had in all 8 territories.

This year, the Anglican Diocese of Belize were the host for 3 meetings under the synods, namely, the House of Bishops, the Standing Committee and the Commission on Doctrine. This afternoon, we got a chance to meet the Arch-Bishop of the West Indies, after he was coming out of one of the meetings. He granted us an interview about the assessment of the Belize chapter of the Anglican Church, and here's what he had to say:

The Synod ends on Friday, March 24.
