Last night we told you that the CDB had earmarked 40 million US dollars in low interest loans for 8 Caribbean countries. Well, 5 million US of that is for Belize. According to CEO in the Ministry of Economic Development Yvonne Hyde, the funds will be used over the next four years to significantly enhance SIF's ability to provide support to poor and vulnerable communities throughout the country.
