Marcial Toledo, Family Says He Killed Cop Because PC Locke Wanted His Wife
posted (March 28, 2017)
Tonight, more is known about Marcial Toledo, the man accused of stabbing a police officer to death at the Raccoon Street Police Station. First, the prison rejected him when he showed up for remand yesterday because he had no medico-legal form. So, he had to be held by police and brought back to court this morning and then escorted back to prison with his medico legal form. So he's under remand tonight, but his family says he's not himself. His daughter, Lilian Toledo, 21, and son, Dilfio Toledo, 24, told the media outside the court room that their father is behaving out of character, because of his head injury.

His daughter claims the attack occurred because the policeman threatened her mother telling her that if she does not go to live with him, he will kill her father. His father learned of the threats and then went looking for the officer in a drunken rage. The daughter claims that they couldn't get help from the police because they were fearful since Locke is also a policeman.

49 year old PC Marvin Locke was stabbed multiple times to the body at the Raccoon Street Police Station on Sunday. He died while receiving treatment shortly after. Police had no weapons at hand, so they had to subdue Toledo with a cement block. When Toledo went to court yesterday he didn't answer any of the judge's questions in either Spanish or English.
