From PAHO to UNICEF, that UNC children's agency has a new country representative.
Ugandan Dr. Susan Kasedde, presented her Credentials to Foreign Minister Wilfred Elrington, and paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Dean Barrow a month ago.
Dr. Kasedde served as UNICEF's Senior Specialist and Global Team Leader for HIV and Adolescents in New York since November 2009. She has worked for over 18 years on HIV Prevention and Sexual and Reproductive Health. Prior to arriving in Belize, she worked as UNAIDS Regional Adviser for Eastern & Southern Africa and Head of Office for UNAIDS in Namibia.
