Today Edwin Perdomo, who recently returned to the country from Miami, was charged with three offences in the Magistrate's Court. Perdomo, who is accused of attacking his aunt with a knife and damaging a wooden door, window and lamp in the process, was charged with aggravated assault, common assault and damage to property. He pled not guilty to all charges and was remanded into custody. He spent one day in prison before being offered $3000 bail along with certain conditions. Perdomo is to surrender his passport and not leave the country without the court's permission. He must also report to the Queen Street Police Station every Friday and is not to interfere with the complainant.
