Last night after 9:00, news spread fast across the Southside that popular budget supermarket Public's was on fire. Tonight we can confirm that there was a small refrigerator fire at the Public's on Central American Boulevard. Turns out that the compressor caught on fire - and it wasn't a failure of the electrical system. Only the wall was damaged and the refrigerator which had to be thrown away. Public's was opened as usual today.
