Last week Friday, we told you about four Guatemalan gold panners who had been caught in the Chiquibul national park. They were found with two Vilas of what appeared to be gold.
Well, tonight the news is that another four have been caught. We don't have the details yet as they are still being extracted from the Chiquibul to be charged at the san Ignacio police station. We hope to have more tomorrow. Gold panning is a persistent problem in the Ceibo Chico area.
