Today, gang figures from all different Southside neighborhoods crowded into the conference room at the Raccoon Street police station to talk out their issues. The meeting went for hours and ended at around 5:15 when various participants told us that they are working on a truce. They told us that they are hoping to have a peace march on Wednesday. Southside Commander Chester Williams has been working steadily to try and mediate the issues between rival gangs. He is set to be transferred form the Southside at the end of June.
