On Monday we told you how Belmopan police had worked quickly to catch and prosecute a pair of robbers who had held up Circle R Rice. They found the men and the gun they are believed to have used. The pair, 28-year-old Florentino Ruiz and 21-year-old Abraham Vellos have already been sent to jail on a 5 year sentence. Well, today their commanding officer set up a ceremony at the Roaring River Golf Course to thank them for their hard and quick work.

Commissioner Allen Whylie was there to give each officer a certificate of commendation.
