Three Car Accident
posted (May 8, 2017)
Last night, Ladyville police responded to a three car traffic accident between Miles 21 and 22 on the Phillip Goldson Highway. When they arrived on the scene, police found a white pickup truck engulfed in flames on the left side of the road, a blue Dodge Caliber with extensive damage to the front on the right side of the road, and a white Saturn in some bushes off the right side of the highway.

The driver of the burning pickup, Frederick Banner, received some burns to the right side of his face, and had a bloody nose and complained of pain to his left foot, which was severely swollen. After giving a urine test, Banner was taken to Belize Healthcare Partners by his family where he was admitted for observation.

The occupants of the Dodge Caliber, Sheida Ayuso, Delcy Tillett, Janine Lopez and Zhania Canul all complained of pain to their arms and legs, and were transported to the KHMH where they reported to be in stable condition.

The occupant or occupants of the white Saturn reportedly fled the scene before the authorities arrived.

A Notice of Intended Prosecution was served to Banner and Ayuso, who was driver the Dodge Caliber.
