Tonight a 19 year old is dead, becoming Belize City's second victim of gun violence in four days. According to reports from the scene, at around 6 this evening as many as 15 shots were fired on Curl Thompson Street in the Jane Usher Area. Witnesses say the young man died on the spot. He fell slumped over his bicycle. Distraught family members rushed to the scene to identify him - but we will hold off on disclosing the name until we are sure his entire family is informed. Police removed the body from the scene about 20 minutes ago.
