Corozal Police still have not made any major progress in their investigation into the double murder of Canadian Francesca Matus and American Drew Devoursney. According to an article in the Toronto Sun, Francesca Matus's American neighbor Don Richardson, claims that he heard John Deshaies arguing loudly with Francesca Matus, on the day before she disappeared. Matus was Deshaies' landlord. Corozal police have confirmed that Richardson told them as much in a statement.
Deshaies will attempt to apply for bail tomorrow. He was remanded on a charge of theft.
