From Bees To Burglars, “Arms Of Love” Under Attack
posted (May 30, 2017)
Last week we told you about the vicious bee attack at Arms of Love Primary School in San Ignacio. A 60 year old grandmother died because of it. But just as the students, teachers and parents were slowly recovering from that terror, the school was burglarized over the weekend. As we told you classes resumed until yesterday because of that bee attack but when they arrived, the principal's office had been thrashed and 11 laptops were gone. The principal of the school Iris Garcia told us today that she got a call on Sunday morning from the school's yard cutter telling her that the wooden office door was open. The police were called out to the school. Garcia told us that the robbers got in through the roof of a classroom and pried their way into the office. They stole 11 laptops , $300 in petty cash all to a total of $8,500.

Garcia believes the thieves took the opportunity since no one was at school after the bee invasion. She is asking for assistance from anyone to replace the stolen items and for anyone with information to reach out to the police so they can get back the schools belongings. The laptops were going to be used for the students computer class.
