PUP Keeps Up Pressure On Yellowman
posted (June 1, 2017)
So, despite the Prime Minister's insistence that he does not support Yellowman's removal from the position of Sergeant at Arms of the National Assembly, the Opposition is not backing down. Yesterday, John Briceño said that both the Sergeant at Arms and Party Chairman Alberto August acted disgracefully, and that should not be overlooked.

Here are his comments:

Hon. John Briceno, Leader of the Opposition
"When we have the macebearer here threatening people in the media, going after a female reporter and then you have no other than the chairman of the United Democratic Party sitting up there and intimidating the media - that is unacceptable and again, I challenge the Prime Minister to speak out. We are waiting to hear what is it that they're going to do with Yellowman. We are waiting to hear what is it that they are going to do with Mr. August, because I could not see how I can have a chairman of my party to behave in such disgraceful ways."
