Corozal Couple Still Missing
posted (June 6, 2017)
Last night, our headline story was the couple from Corozal who went missing since last week Thursday. Their families have been frantically searching for them ever since, and today, they completed day 5, with absolutely no results.

As we told you, 32 year-old Zeidy Orozco, a resident of San Andres Village, and her 41 year-old Ranchito Village boyfriend, Baltazar Lopez, went missing on last Thursday night. On Friday, the following day, the cops found her burnt Chevy Prism car in a very remote location off the road linking Patchakan and Yo Chen Villages. It had been set on fire by someone who was trying to make it very difficult to find.

The 2 families went back out on the search today, making a sweep from Libertad to San Victor, but, still, there were no signs. The search teams reported that they saw plenty of police presence. You'll remember them complaining yesterday that police wasn't doing enough. Well, the cops heard them, and there were sightings of about 10 police mobiles filled up with cops who were out doing their own sweep.

The families just finished meeting and have decided to continue the search with the same numbers up until Thursday. They're asking volunteers to meet them tomorrow in front of the Social security Building in Corozal Town.
