San Pedro police busted about a pound of marijuana yesterday.  It happened at dawn when island police raided a room at Coco Plum apartments Complex in the San Marcus area, San Pedro Town. They found 403 grams or 14 ounces of cannabis.  Police arrested and charged 41 year old Joseph Enrique Martinez for Drug Trafficking.

And this morning at 8:30 am in Belize City, a joint Special Branch/ strike Team raided a residence at 72 Vernon Street where 2 men were seen stuffing a large quantity of cannabis in one of the apartment room. Police forced their way into the room and detained both persons. The cops found 42 tightly wrapped parcels containing 14 1/2 pounds of cannabis. 

Noel Richard Leal  and Richard Eric Belislewere arrested and charged for Drug Trafficking.
