Dangriga Teacher On Bike Killed
posted (June 16, 2017)
In Dangriga, a pre school teacher was killed in a traffic accident. Yesterday at around 4:00, 26-year-old Naomi Abigail Taylor McKenzie was riding her beach cruiser to the mother's resdience when she was rear ended by a motorbike.

22 year old Michael Estero was driving the motorbike with a 17 year old passenger. They were behind McKenzie when they crashed into her rear wheel, and that sent the schoolteacher crashing to the pavement. She received head injuries and was rushed to the Southern Regional Hospital where she died at 5:30.

The two men on the motorbike were also injured - and one of them had to be transported to the KHMH. Police Press Officer Inspector Fitzroy Yearwood told us what police know about the accident so far...

Estero has been served a notice of Intended Prosecution, but has not yet been charged.
