And police have already charged one of the 3 men with attempted murder. He is Steven Manzanero. The other 2 will be charged with murder. Here is what police had to say in this case.

"The investigations revealed that he was along with a female, 16 years old, at the football field in Santa Familia Village sometime around after 10pm and whilst there 3 male persons approached them. One of the male persons attacked him, Eliseo, who inflicted stab wounds to his body. The female ran away going towards the riverside that is nearby behind the football field. She was followed and there she was attacked and her body was later retrieve from the river. Two large cut wounds was observed on the right side of her neck."
"The 3 male persons were detained. Statements were recorded, the scene processed and one of the male persons Steven Manzanero was arrested and charged for attempted murder of Eliseo Bacab. The 3 of them will be charged with murder; Steven Manzanero, Armando Coleman and Reginald Pott."

Latest reports are that all 3 have been charged with Amy Guerra's murder, arraigned and remanded.
Manzanero was convicted of manslaughter in 2008. Tomorrow the family will be protesting in front of the Cayo Police station. We will keep following this case.
