"So then if it is like a bad marriage, are you disappointed to know that 8 of the 10 councilors are seeking to contest the election and it would be like asking for a renewal of vows."

"I think that we have done good things in the council overall. I believe that substantial amount streets have been improved, parks have been improved. I think that the working relationship with the council is good. I think that we do have very strong disagreements, but that is to be expected when you are in a political organization and when you have people with strong personalities. That notwithstanding I do believe that in recent times this has been one of the strongest councils in relations to performance and personality."
