Was San Pedrano Pultarco Murdered? City Cops Say Yes, Island Cops Say No
posted (July 10, 2017)
So far on the news we've already told you about a weekend murder in San Pedro. Well, there is another sudden death on the island that the forensic examiner says looks like a murder. On Wednesday, 56 year old Plutarco Noralez was found dead and the on Thursday, the forensic examiner said that he died of Traumatic Asphyxiation…due to neck and chest compression due to blunt force trauma.

Police sent it out to the media under the heading "murder", but the office run charge of the island said he disagrees and here's why:

Supt. Henry Jemmoth - OC, Coastal Executive Unit
"Whilst investigating the Faye Lin's, we got an information on Wednesday that a male person died at the hospital. We proceeded to that location where we made checks and saw the lifeless body of Mister Plutarco Noralez, a Honduran national. He has no fixed addressed. All we know is that he wonders around in the Boca Del Rio Park and he is a frequent drinker that remains in that area."

"So far we have canvassed the area and recorded several statements but nothing to indicate that anyone had caused any harm to him. Also from one of the statements, they had stated that the swelling on the neck was a swelling that over time he had and they told him to go check on it at the doctor. So we are still investigating that also, but more likely we will also after gathering all these statements from various people we will submit that file to the DPP as well, after we have concluded that."

Reporter
"So then it's not conclusive that its murder."

Supt. Henry Jemmoth
"It's not conclusive at this time."

Superintendent Jemmoth told us that they are trying to get in contact with his family from Honduras to make arrangements so that his body can be sent to his home country for burial.
