Yesterday we told you all about the new General Secretary at the Football Federation of Belize. Well, he has to hit the ground running because four member associations have called for an urgent extraordinary congress. That letter was sent to the FFB on Saturday July 8th., so, as of now, the clock is ticking. Acting President Marlon Kuylen explained:

"We have 60 days from receipt of that letter to convene that Congress, and by the statute we must convene it. But it can be done within 60 days, so, ah, it will happen. The date we haven't set as yet because we have our homework cut out for us. Because items on the agenda include the election or the formation of an ethics committee, and a new electoral appeals committee. So we have to go and search for people that are willing to serve on these committees. So, yes, it has to happen, it will happen within the 60 days."
The agenda for that meeting still has to be finalized.
