Dwayne’s Drug Traffic Dollars
posted (July 18, 2017)
28 year-old Dwayne Hulse is at home tonight trying to come up with the funds to pay a ten-thousand dollar court fine. Police busted him with over half a kilo of marijuana, and after pleading not guilty, he returned to court to accept responsibility for the drugs.

According to police they busted him early on January 11 at his home at mile 2 and a half on the Phillip Goldson highway. Police say that they conducted a search of his premises and spotted him when he tried to throw away a small quantity of the drug. They retrieved it, and then they searched the house. That led to the discovery of a black plastic bag, which contained 539 grams - a little over a pound of weed, under his bed.

He initially pled not guilty to the offense, but when the case was called up for an adjournment, Hulse announced to the court that he wished to change his plea to guilty.

Chief Magistrate Ann Marie Smith accepted that new plea and ruled that he must pay $10,200 dollars in fines. If he defaults on payment, which is due next year March, he will spend 2 years in jail.
