Last night we told you about the 18 year old US National who was killed in a motorbike accident on the Southern Highway. Well there was another fatal collision last night - also involving a motorbike - on that same highway.
Around 7:00, 48 year old taxi driver, Ernesto Cadle was driving his Isuzu Rodeo from Cowpen junction to Independence when he knocked 62 year Benedicto Mendez off his motorcycle between miles 36 and 37. Mendez died on the spot.
