Today two police officers appeared in the Magistrate's Court where they were charged for extortion. Corporal Marvin Salam and Constable Anthony Blair are accused of trying to blackmail Herman and Jessica Bhojwani after pulling them over last Saturday. According to reports, the cops stopped the Bhojwani's on Mahogany Street and demanded $5000 in exchange for not charging them.

Both officers pled not guilty to the charges in court and were released on $3000 bail each. The case was adjourned until September 27.
