Six months ago, she was accused of committing an aggravated assault with a firearm upon her husband by allegedly pulling his own gun and pointing it at him, but yesterday Asako Solis was declared a free woman.

Her husband Elvis Solis says he must look at the bigger picture so he chose not to continue with case against his estranged wife.

Solis's trial began about three weeks ago before Senior Magistrate, but yesterday her husband told Senior Magistrate, Sharon Fraser that he cannot take the risk of her going to jail and the children will be without their mother. Solis was facing jail time if she was convicted of aggravated assault with a firearm.
