No one has yet been charged for the safe breaking robbery at Caribbean Tyres. Three men are detained after San Ignacio police were able to recover close to 50 thousand dollars from an area in Billy White Village. That's also here they arrested the main suspect. Now police have detained two os his suspected accomplices, and today investigators were out in the field gathering further evidence to see if they can also lay charges against two other suspect.
Sometime between 6:15 on Friday night and 7:15 on Saturday morning, a man wearing a cap pulled low over his face, wrenched off the door of the iron safe at Caribbean Tires in Spanish Lookout, and stole 20 thousand US dollars and five thousand Belize dollars. The main suspect is reported to be an employee.
