Yesterday the Belmopan Police's Quick Response Team, acting on information received, searched a home in Valley of Peace Village where two men reside. Police asked us not to reveal their names, but the QRT found just under $40,000 in unaccounted cash in their home, confirming the tip. It's not a crime, so no arrest was made, but the Income Tax Department was contacted after the bust and have since assessed them for 50% of the total.
