In last night's news, we took you on the first day of the Familiarization Trip that the BTB sponsored for the local media. In their all-expense-paid weekend vacation, the press visited different tourist destinations in and around Hopkins Village.
After that, the BTB organized a visit to the Gladden Spit and Silk Caye Marine Reserve, which is 22 miles east of Placencia.
On this trip, it was all about snorkeling around the barrier reef near the reserve. Daniel Ortiz picks up the story where the charter boat pulled up:
