Now, even discussing the removal of the head of the judiciary is no small matter - and it's left to be seen if the bar membership pushes on, or chickens out.

But, relations are already very frayed between the CJ and the Bar because, as we first reported in July, there are over two dozen pending judgements which Benjamin has not delivered - some of them delayed more than five years. The Chief Justice gave a firm undertaking in July to get rid of the backlog by the end of September, but it seems the Bar is not convinced that he has been keeping to his commitment. The bottom line is Benjamin has made promises to deliver judgements before, and he has failed - so confidence is low and patience has worn thin.
