As we told you last night, 17 year old Erwin Rodriguez is still missing. His family and church have persisted in a tireless search but it has become challenging because they have reached deep ponds and swamps that they are not equipped to dive. His mother says that help form the authorities was very limited until now. She says that after Kelvin Usher was found more help finally started to trickle in for the Rodriguez family.

"How has search efforts been? Has it just been you or have you gotten assistance?"
Sylvia Rodriguez, Mother
"Before it was just we the church members, but now have some people helping us like Mr. Jose Espat and another lady named Karen, she is helping us after the search for Kelvin Usher, so from there they decided to help us too."

"Have you found anything like any of his belongings?"
Sylvia Rodriguez, Mother
"Just his slippers. Yes we found a sweater, but I didn't see that before, so I don't think it's his. But one think I know that we need help from the police or coast guard or any kind of help, because back there has so many ponds and water and drains, so we need divers and so. That is what we want the family to find him no matter how, if he already die, to bury him so we can have peace."
"Sometimes I tried to sleep but his face comes in my memories and it's hard. If somebody has my son somewhere, just allow him to communicate with us so we could know what happened or if anybody knows something that happened to him, just let them talk. We are people who doesn't believe in revenge or things like that, but if anybody could help to tell us what happened, we will appreciate that."

We note that this is not the first time Sylvia Rodriguez has lost a son. In 2014 her 18-year-old son Kevin Rodriguez was murdered at their family home in Port Loyola.
