The Primary School Social Studies competition was held this morning at the Bliss Center. It was a tough competition with even tougher questions but students representing their schools seemed like experts on all the History topics. 7News was there and got to speak to an organizer as well as the top finishers.

Albert Avila, Community Liason Officer for the Belize City House of Culture and the Downtown Rejuvenation Project
"Today the competition is to focus on the history of Belize City so most of the questions that are in this competition are Belize City focused and like I said because the students are our future we want them to be involved we want them to know our history and the significance."
