A Rusty Gun Robbed Pawnshop

There was a big money heist at a Belmopan pawnshop today. Capital cops say at 9:20 this morning, thieves made off with almost 60 thousand dollars in cash and valuables from First Stop Pawn Shop on Constitution Drive in Belmopan.

The manager of the pawn shop, told police that 2 men entered, one of them pulled out a rusty handgun and demanded that they opened the lock to the burglar bar gate.

Fearing for their lives, the pawnshop employees complied, and that's when both men cleaned them out of $8,500 in cash, and assortment of jewelry to total value of $51,000, and a cell phone. No one has been arrested yet.
