A man died in police custody today. It happened in Maskall where this morning at 11:30, the police officer on duty at the village station found 50 year old detainee Mario Herrera hanging from the cell window. He had been detained an hour earlier for the breach of a protection order.
Police say no signs of physical violence were observed and right now it is being treated as a suicide. The body has been transported to the KHMH pending a post mortem examination.
