"Police visited Mile 10 on the Coastal Road, where they came upon some burnt human remains. The remains were processed and then transported to the Southern Regional Hospital for further transportation to Belize City to be examined by the pathologist."
"From the observation of the officers who went out there it seemed that it's not too much of an old death, it's not too recent. However, not even the sex could have been determined at that point. That's one of the reasons why it will be brought in today."

Our information say that strands of hair found near to the body suggest that it could be a female - but that is inconclusive.
